On this fall day...as we move into consideration of the equinox... and move away from the pearlescent beauty of the fullest of moons, harvest time suggests its largesse.   We might look to the hearts and minds of those in farming communities who struggle to provide well for their families, while offering to our populations a
remarkable abundance and variety of food and herbs and flowering plants to feed our bodies and souls.

Let's take a moment and offer our blessings and prayers to those hardy folk, who live by the laws of nature, and suffer by those same rulings that bring drought and floods and pestilence as readily as blossoming beauty.  And, then, perhaps, look to our own harvesting.  How have we plowed our inner fields?  And how do we water and
nourish our own souls?  And likewise, turn to assist that same unfolding and blossoming in others.

Take a moment, and read the thoughts and experience of those in community. Celebrate that which is good, empowering the possibilities, even as we watch the leaves fall, colorful and brilliant, portending the movement of the seasons, on this globe, and in our lives.
